Labor pensions will be increased by an average of 5% starting 1 September 2026. The measure is stipulated in Decree No. 288 signed by Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko on 24 August, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
Funding for these expenditures is secured within the allocations provided for pension payments under the law “On the Budget of the State Social Security Fund of the Republic of Belarus for 2026”.
